AI visibility for aesthetic clinics in Dubai
What patients ask AI about aesthetic clinics in Dubai, which sources the answers rely on, and where clinics tend to lose out.
Patients choosing an aesthetic clinic in Dubai often start with a question, not a search: “Where’s good for laser hair removal in the Marina?”, “Is Botox safe at a small clinic?”, “Which clinic has a female doctor for pigmentation?” More of those questions now go to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews.
This guide summarises what we see when we ask those questions. The figures come from our latest scan, which is shown in the panel on this page.
What patients ask
The questions are specific. They name a treatment, an area, and often a concern: safety, gender of the practitioner, price, downtime, results for a particular skin type. Clinics that describe their treatments in those same plain terms give the AI something to match.
Where the answers come from
For aesthetic clinics, a small number of sources carry a lot of weight: Google Business Profiles and reviews, one or two medical directories, magazine “best clinics” lists, and booking platforms. Clinic websites are cited less often than most owners expect. The health authority licence register also appears in some answers about safety.
Where clinics lose out
No listing on the main directory. The most common finding in our clinic reports. If a directory is cited in a third of answers and you aren’t on it, you are missing from much of what patients read.
Services described too broadly. “Skin treatments” doesn’t match a question about acne scars. List each treatment by the name patients use.
A strength credited to someone else. Female-only teams, a dermatologist on site every day, late opening on Fridays. If you offer it but a competitor says it more clearly, the AI may give them the credit.
Outdated details. A previous address, old opening hours or a doctor who has left, repeated confidently in answers.
Licence not mentioned. Few clinics state their licence clearly on their website, even though safety questions are common.
Specialist questions produce different winners
A clinic outside the overall top four can lead for a single treatment. In our scan, one clinic was named in 44% of answers about laser hair removal while rarely appearing in general questions. Specialising in how you describe yourself is often more effective than trying to be named for everything.
A starting checklist
- Complete your Google Business Profile, including every treatment by name
- Create or complete your listings on the directories cited for your category
- Make your address, hours and doctors the same everywhere
- Add one page per main treatment, written the way patients ask
- State your licence and practitioners’ qualifications plainly
We check all of this for individual clinics, with a Google vs AI comparison for your own area. See a sample clinic report or request a check.
